Monday, July 6

Come to the Hard Bean Cafe in Boyertown where you may bring your children for a unique and special morning of entertainment.

From 10:30AM - 11:30AM, Nadine will be leading an event for your children which is a combination of stories, singing songs and drumming. You are all invited to bring your children to release their energy on drums while you soak in some yummy snacks and beverages!

Immediately following Nadine, I will be twisting balloons from 11:30AM - 12:30PM.

*Be sure to ask the Hard Bean Cafe for a beverage card! After 10 punches in the card (one for each beverage you purchase) you will receive a free beverage (some limitations apply).

The picture at the top was taken by a wonderful friend of mine at the Boyertown Library Summer Reading Program Kick-Off event. Anytime I support this library, I am happy.

Week of June 22, 2009. Two discounts for blog readers.

This week is calm on the balloon twisting front to allow my daughter, Butterfly Balloon, to attend drama camp. She is quite excited about the camp which is always a good thing.

My public event this week is my usual, fun, Wednesday night spot of Friendly's in Pottstown on Shoemaker Rd. I will be there from 5PM - 7:30PM.

As for the discount mentioned in the title....the next two booking requests for events in the month of July that I receive (via website, email or phone) that tell me "I read your blog and would like the discount" will receive a $20 discount off the total cost of your event for events that are booked for 1.5 hours or more. This must be a new booking request and for a July 2009 event. Please note that I will not be offering discounts in the months of August through December of this year, as I will be limiting my hours during those months to focus on family activities that we have planned.

A goofy, larger, gun. I can not say that I am a fan of guns but since they are made from balloons and all of my balloon guns shoot jelly or cookies, it does not seem so bad. This is only a small portion of one of Don Caldwell's designs, the Monkey Tron5000. I did make a Fish Tron5000 this week at an event but did not get a picture. Maybe next time.

The dolphin above is one of the newer creations that I have learned, courtesy of Thelma Levett and I'm enjoying making them. I am looking forward to the Barnes and Nobles events with Agora Cyber Charter School this week as well as my Wednesday night hangout, Friendly's. Here are the fun details.

Tuesday, June 16th, 10:30AM - 12:30PM
Join me at the Wyomissing Barnes and Noble for an Agora Cyber Charter School Showcase event. This is a free, public event. Not only will you receive a balloon but Agora has activities for the children as well. Be sure to pick up the Barnes and Noble summer reading program form. Your child will get a free book for every 8 books they read and they can fill out the form twice this summer!

July and August and September (believe it or not) are filling up quickly so be sure to call me soon to book your summer and fall events as I will be available only on a limited basis from August through November.
